Fastest rider Franklin Deepak declared King of Hill

Dominates the 2w section with victories in four classes

Bengaluru, 9 June 2026: Franklin Deepak of Bengaluru hogged the limelight with victories in four classes and was also declared King of the Hills for clocking the fastest time in the Motorsports Inc Dust to the Clouds-4, an FMSCI-approved hill climb event for two-wheelers that concluded at Mallappa Konda, Kuppam on Sunday.

“I am delighted today. The climb was fast and technical, and everything came together perfectly for me this weekend. I was able to improve by nearly six seconds over my previous winning performance. Winning four classes and taking the Fastest Rider award is very satisfying, and I thank my team, supporters and the organisers for putting together another excellent event,” said Franklin Deepak.

Deepak stamped his authority across multiple categories, winning Group B 4-Stroke 165-260cc and 261-450cc classes, Royal Enfield 450cc and above, and the prestigious Foreign Open class. His winning run in the Foreign Open category, clocking 3 minutes, 30.548 seconds, was the quickest ascent of the event and earned him the Fastest Rider honours. The fourth edition of the popular Dust to the Clouds Hill Climb, organised by Jaidas Menon of Motorsport Inc, attracted 82 entries.

The premier Foreign Open class saw Deepak, astride a  Kawasaki Z900, finish comfortably ahead of Karan Mohan and Sanjeev Suresh, while Dhanush completed the top four. Earlier, Deepak had also dominated the mid-capacity and large-capacity four-stroke categories, underlining his versatility across different machinery.

Another standout performer was Sidhant Sreedhar, who claimed victory in the highly competitive Indian Open class with a time of 3:36.082, ahead of Sai Shreyash and Sagnik Deb. Sreedhar also finished runner-up to Deepak in the Group B 4-Stroke 261-450cc class.

In the Foreign Class 450-800cc category, Arjun SSB emerged victorious ahead of Sanjeev Suresh, while Hemanth Kumar topped the Group B Two-Stroke Up to 165cc class. Imtiaz Pasha won the Royal Enfield Up to 450cc category.
